Corrections, disputes, and removals

Houston Apartment Reviews Directory is an independent directory of apartment businesses in Greater Houston. Listings come from publicly available business information. Scores and review summaries are generated from Google reviews using one fixed, published rubric applied consistently to every business. Being listed here is free, and no payment can ever change your score or ranking. This page explains how to request corrections to factual details, dispute a score, or ask for your listing to be removed. The full rubric is published under how we score.

Fixing factual details

Your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services can all be corrected. To fix any of these, provide the correct information along with something that verifies it: your website, your Google Business Profile, or another official source. Once we apply a correction, it stays in place through future data refreshes.

Disputing your score

Scores are never hand-edited. If you believe your score is wrong, it means the underlying data is wrong: your listing may be matched to the wrong business, reviews may be attributed to you incorrectly, or a review summary may be misstating what reviewers actually wrote. Tell us what the error is, and we will re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number; it is a claim that the input data is incorrect.

Requesting removal

Your listing can be removed if your business is permanently closed, the listing is a duplicate, or your business is outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly re-verification cycle automatically catches and removes closed businesses. If your business is accurate and in scope, a removal request may be declined. When that happens, we will explain why plainly.

How fast we respond

Every request gets acknowledged within 5 business days. Removals that are confirmed are completed within 7 days. Requests that are declined include the reason.
